Welcome to my seventh income report! November was a month of learning, trying new things, and refining my business strategy.
To be honest, I wasn’t very present on the blog this month because I spent some time travelling. But I spent a lot of time, instead, exploring Facebook, learning about online marketing, and analyzing the business strategies that are working for other solo entrepreneurs. So, overall, it was a good month.

November 2018 Goals
Drill down on Pinterest strategy
A big goal for me this month was to double-down on my Pinterest strategy and grow my traffic, and it worked!
A new pin (for this post) went viral and I had my highest traffic day yet – almost doubling my previous traffic record!
Unfortunately, the pin went viral 3 days before Thanksgiving and my traffic dropped off quite a bit for the holiday. It went back up a little, so it’s higher than it was, but not as high as it could have been.
It’s great to know that my strategy is working and I’m hoping for more viral pins this month!
I know that I said I would share my strategy in this post if it worked, but I think it might be too much to share here, so I’ll work on getting a separate blog post out soon with all the details.
Get first Pinterest management client
Finding clients has been a lot more difficult than I thought it might be.
I was told that Facebook groups are a good place to find clients, and I don’t doubt that. But it takes a lot of time to search through posts and comment on the ones that are relevant and connect with the people who might be looking for help with what I can offer.
Through all the time that I’ve spent commenting in groups and emailing potential leads, I’ve realized just how important it is to have systems set up that will allow people to find me, not the other way around.
I’m not going to stop engaging in groups, but I am going to start creating more content that showcases my Pinterest knowledge and attracts readers who may be in need of Pinterest assistance.
My Business Goals for December 2018
To be honest, I’ve struggled with coming up with business goals for December because I want to be able to experiment this month without the pressure of meeting a certain goal or number.
But here are a few things that I know I want to accomplish this month:
Next week (December 10-14), I’ll be showing up live on my Facebook page every morning at 7am EST to share what I’ve accomplished so far each morning.
I’m hoping that some of you ladies will join me by watching the live videos and sharing in the comments what you’ve accomplished each morning, too, so that we can all keep each other accountable to our morning routine goals.
This is actually a really big and scary step for me because I’ve never done a Facebook live and this feels like a big promise to make to my audience.
But I’m also super excited to engage with other women who are also working towards creating a consistent morning routine. I can’t wait to see how it goes!
Create an opt-in incentive
I’m putting this one back on the docket. I know I’ve struggled with it in the past, but building my email list is soooo important and offering a freebie is the best way to get people to subscribe.
So stay tuned to see what I come up with!
(Update: I’ll be offering a FREE 5-day email course about all things Pinterest soon. Until then, join the Pinterest Momentum FB group to be the first to know when the course goes live!)
November 2018 Traffic
Pageviews: 6,058 (up from 4,930)
Email Subscribers: 31 (up from 27)
Pinterest Followers: 446 (up from 352)
Facebook Page Likes: 3
I loved seeing my traffic shoot up when one of my posts went viral this month!
It started off a little shaky, but, overall, it was a good month for traffic.
Here’s a look at my blog traffic for the month:
November 2018 Income
Amazon Affiliates: $4.02
Again, this month solidified that income isn’t guaranteed by pageviews. Pageviews went up 23% from last month, but income went down 45%.
I’m not really worried about the drop in income, because I know I can do better. I only wrote three posts this month, so I definitely could have showed up more consistently. Also… fluctuations go in both directions.
As I post more regularly and gain traction with my Pinterest services, I know this will go up fairly quickly.
November 2018 Expenses
This was somewhat sad, because it means my business was in the red in November. But it’s also given me a reason to do so much better in December.
In honor of Christmas, my favorite holiday ever, I’m offering severely discounted Pinterest strategy sessions. I will normally offer these for $197, but right now they’re only $15!
I’m only going to be offering a VERY small number of these at the discounted price, so get more info and sign up now.
This promotion has officially ended, but please don’t hesitate to check out my Pinterest services.
One Last Note
And that’s a wrap. I wanted to keep things short and sweet this month, but hopefully you still found my seventh income report helpful.
